This dumpster is designed for general debris, such as wood and drywall commonly generated at construction sites. Weight limits and acceptable materials are strictly regulated for this type of recycling dumpster. Improper use may result in additional charges or complete rejection of the load by the recycling facility. For full details, please review the disposal guidelines and service agreement below. 

Accepted Materials:

General debris dumpster only accepts the following materials. 

• Construction debris (wood, metal, stucco, tile, drywall, glass and etc)
• Yard waste
• Office waste
• Metal items
• General non-hazardous waste
• Household furniture, appliances, and electronics (additional charges apply, see details below)

Restricted Materials:

• No rebar or wires protruding more than 3 inches from concrete
• No oversized pieces (must be under 3 feet)
• No heavy material like concrete, brick, dirt
• No overfilling the dumpster
  
  * Excessive heavy materials can significantly increase the overall weight. We reserve the right to refuse pickup if the dumpster exceeds a safe weight limit.

Prohibited Materials:

• Hazardous Waste: Paint, stains, varnish, pesticides, chemicals, asbestos, batteries, medical waste
• Flammable Materials: Gasoline, diesel, oil, propane tanks, aerosol cans, fireworks, explosives
• Special Items: Large tree stumps, asbestos, railroad ties

Drop-off, Pickup & Rental Terms

• Drop-off: Clients must secure space for the dumpster, including any required permits
• Pickup: Once confirmed ready, pickup occurs within 1-3 days
• Rental Period: Includes up to 7 days. Additional days are $45 per extra day
• Surface Protection: The client is responsible for protecting the ground or driveway where the dumpster will be placed
• Same-day delivery depends on availability at the time of request

Fees & Additional Charges

• Dead-run Fees: If our truck arrives but cannot drop off or pick up due to space issues, a $250 dead-run fee applies ($350 north of Millbrae/Oakland)
• Electronics, Appliances & Special Item Fees: Additional fees apply for electronics and appliances (e.g., microwaves, computers). See the fee table below. 
• Special Recycling Request:  For clients requesting delivery to a specific recycling center, a fixed trucking fee—based on distance—will be charged. All disposal fees at the recycling facility are the client’s responsibility.
• Appliance & Electronics Disposal Fees: Appliances, electronics, and large items incur additional charges as required by recycling centers. Please see the disposal fee table below for details.
